that DAMN seat cowl

So, I really want one of these seat cowls... But I can't seem to find one ANYWHERE for less than $200... does anyone know where I can locate one on the semi-cheap? Or is someone willing to sell theirs to me? or hell, even just send me a mold of it and I'll fiberglass my own... I just can't stand gettin' stiffed on the price for this little part, and the folks at Ebay wanna bend me over....

 

This is a highly sought after piece so I don't think you'll accidentally run into a cheap one.

 

Look for a guy named VFRchuck I believe he makes them for about 100 dollars

They were expensive and hard to find when the bikes were new.

 

Seeing as how nice and straight yours would be, may I suggest some heavier gauge AL and slowly bend it with a nice inner radius and cut it out. At least that would get you a pattern for fiberglass.

Or find VFRchuck. Great quality, slow response, unfortunately.
