Well if you think Atlanta spoils you, you should go ride Barber. I love Barber, but I heard the new New Jersey course is outstanding and I want to go ride it bad. Maybe the VFR needs to stretch its legs on the track.

Any chance that any of y'all are gonna take the Pridmore "Class" at VIR? I was very lucky to win a day of it at the Morton's BMW open house a few months ago. Have any of you done this class? I'm really looking foreward to it as it will be my first track day.

 

I would love too but I'm sure I cant afford it right now. Does Reg come to Virgina often? I figured he stayed out in Cali.

 

From what I've found out, they have done a "Class" at VIR regularly. The guy at the BMW place said that the event used to be sponsored by Honda.

got a great deal from nicecycle.com...my 98vfr is a little beat up and they have red full fairing set on sale for $579.....not bad from what i've seen and a lister gave a rave review of his.....

 

I'm a sucker for the minolta racing VFR800RR fairings on Ebay for $560.00...

 

I'll start saving soon, we bought a house and moved cross country last month, I spent the last of my splurge money buying my VFR.
I wont take her out to the track without frame sliders, and Im hoping to have a set of crash fairings first also. last time I crashed at the track it took me 6 months to raise the cash to make my bike rideable again, of course that was a 20 bike pile up which I wouldnt expect at a Pridmore class.

 

How was VIR Hotbrakes?

 

Looking for a little forum input, need to re-do front fork seals soon, and am looking for a nice up-grade,replacement, i saw one guy used the F4i front forks, or just rebuild what i have...??
