    Hello VFRWorld members!

A group of six VFR's met and rode Blood Mountain, Richard Russell Skyway, Lake Burton, and the surrounding roads.
We had Joey (Joey_Dude), two Matts (matt1986vf500f and Park800), Vince ('97VFR750), Sy (Rollin_Again), myself (GeorgiaRider) and my fiance (Anna) on the ride.

Pictures to prove it DID Happen!

    Bike rundown:
Three Gen6 bikes: RWB, Silver, White
    One Gen5: Red
    One Gen4: Red
    One Gen1: RWB VF500

Everyone had a great time and the weather was perfect! We took a break in Helen, GA for some great bar-b-que!
(July 3rd has way too many people in the mountains for much 'serious' riding!)
The SouthEast contingent of VFRWorld is alive and kicking and giving the West Coast Group a run for the money for the amount of rides we put together!

Hey everybody! I had an awesome time meeting yall, couldn't of asked for better weather or a better group of riders, both guys and gal! I absolutely cannot wait to do it again, maybe next time with less traffic, especially the farm trucks and duallies!!!! Sy, thanks again for an invite, lets do that camping trip soon! Long live the V4's

Thanks for posting up the pictures. This should launch my modeling career! That was a great day, only downside was some traffic but it wasn't like we were crawlling on blood mountain. And even a bad day riding beats a good day at work!

So I loved Gary's Exhaust so much after our ride I had to go get a Remus High Mount Race Exhaust for mine. Will be installing it on thursday and riding on friday. Is anyone else game?

    Hey Vince,
You'll like the Remus, I just wish they were a touch louder!

I'm working on Friday so I can't join you. Have a good ride.

Haha, I guess not working Mon-Fri 9-5 does have its perks, but once classes start up (along with work) in the fall I'll have little to no time to ride so I am tryin to get it in while I can! Its ok Joey, I got a saturday off next week so maybe we can go back to lake burton for round two!!

    Vince

PS - Gary, did you order your remus with the road (quiet) core or GP core? Back in 97 when Remus produced exhausts still for the 4th Gen, they came out with two cores, a road core which was street legal and a race core which was not and much louder. I happened to stumble upon a race core Remus Viper, brand new for only 175 bucks so hopefully it'll be at least a little louder than the yoshi! BTW your bike is pretty dang loud when I was riding behind you.

    Vince,
When I ordered my Remus for the 6th Gen they didn't offer any options. Apparently only one type is available for the 6th gen.
(Glad to hear mine has a nice 'tone' in the back!)
Have fun this week and let me know when the next 'ride' will be!

No big thing, Matt. I just HAD to sound like a whiny little girl for a sec. Gary thought it was terribly funny when we got home & I took off my helmet & I had a nasty little dirt ring from nose to chin & cheek to cheek. Guess I need to put dowm my shield a little more often!
Great to meet you & Vince - had a great time. Thanks for letting me try out your bike size... One step closer to getting me up front, DRIVING...
Hope we can do this again SOON!!! (Sorry we can't do the 18th, but I kind of HAVE TO be at my bro's wedding...sigh)
