Bought a 83 750 Interceptor was wondering if there is a way to lower the ride height. When I test rode it the ride height was good but it had a bald tire, I replaced the tire and it is just a little tought backing it up now as I am on my tippy tows. Doesn't need to be a huge adjustment just a slight one any Ideas?

IT's OK to jump off and push it back !!

Don't start lowering things before you put some miles on the bike first, because you'll feel more comfortable soon.

A universal rule of motorcycling is this : "The more miles you ride your bike, the smalller it feels to you!"

Thank you, I just bought this bike and havent worn boots with it yet so I should be ok. I had a accident a couple years ago and sold my bike some lady on the highway didnt feel she needed look before she got into the fastlane. My wife bought it for me as a fathers day present so now im starting over with gear so had to get new boots and everything, mine were eaten by the pavement.:frown:

Wow-More Power for Getting Back On.

If you really want to ride low get yourself an adjustable length rear shock. I bought a used rear coilover on ebay for $75. Also Jamie Daugherty can retrofit a newer shock to give you better ride quality and the adjust ability.

    I love this quote.

I've been out for a few days, and I see this was already answered. But I feel like replying anyway... No, there is no quick adjustment. Any height adjusting you are doing on 80% of the bikes out there are fairly involved mechanical modifications. for a bike to be as old as the one you have, best to let the ole girl keep her original legs
