LOL! They were DVD's but the chicken breasts were big. The bag is about a 6-7 year old Marsee magnetic expandible. The tire kit and extra R/R stays under the seat where the grab handles were stowed.

In the bag are two zipped pockets. In the pockets in Ziplocs are:

    Pocket 1
    2 Roc Straps
    1 comb
    10 or so wire ties
    1 pen
1 pencil with about 20' of gaffers tape wrapped round
1 pair of poly glove liners

    Pocket 2

    Chapstick
    10+sunblock (mini-size)
    .5% cortisone cream (mini-size)
    35mm film can of Ibuprofin
35mm film can of disposable type foam earplugs
    Cigarette lighter
Extra bike key ringed to a LCD tire guage
A knockoff Gerber serrated edge pocket knife
A real Gerber "Shortcut" mini tool

The clear map window on the top of the bag is still crystal clear, magnets are great. The bag doesn't move I guess because my VFR is not one of those that goes 175mph ;)

In lieu of one of those plastic pucks for kickstands, What works is a flattened aluminum beer can. Cut out both ends and squish the sucker. If branding is of importance, leave the label side out.

    Damn near forgot..two maps.

Depends on which bag I use. My daily bag has: 2oz spray bottle Windex, 2oz spray bottle Rain-X either one or both. Paper towels, pen, tiny note pad, toothpicks, bag cover, sun glasses, sun tan lotion, bungee are in the side pockets. Main compartment: small towel, slip-on rubber boots, rain gear, long sleeve T-shirt, bottle of water, and Ohio map(for back roads). My other bag is used for trips cause it holds a lot and doesn't get in the way.

Great tread. I'm here at work and I just had to go look what I have in there. It's a large bag. A Cargo Endurance expandible. It's a magnetic tank/tail bag. It's location on my bike depends on the days ride. Also have the Saddlemen large sport bags on the bike most of the time anymore but hold only a long sleve t-shirt & a rain jacket. I add what ever as I go or get ready to go. Under seat holds the documents, a spare check book, kick stand wood block, factory tool kit, a good amount of 14 ga wire, electrical tape & zip ties. In the Tank/Tail bag holds :Sunglasses. MultiTool. Ibuprofin. My clear visor for my lid. Blue shop paper towls. Wet weather cover for the bag. A pad of StormSafe paper & pen. 2 bungi cords. Bungie net. 2 nylon straps with Fastex buckles. Surefire G2 flash light. Ohio/PA map. Absent is my Walther P99 w 115+p+ 9mm Hornady HP or my Colt 70 series w 200grn +p Hornady .45acp. Seems like a redunancy when I'm wearing a Glock 21 on my duty belt today. With th wisdom from the Order I'm adding to my kit: the zip lock/papertowel/windex, one of my 1qt canteen w cover & cup (them cheip water bottles leak to much), 1 each-first aid kit-individual-OD Green in color, & a space blanket.

I am designing a TeeVee mount for Harleys that will support up to and including a 32" plasma TeeVee. (diagonal measure) This will be constructed entirely of 2X4's and wire ties.

Also for y'all who are intelligent and flush enough, I still have for sale a complete set of Ventura luggage for sale that will go right on a 90-93 VFR. Retails for 500 clams. This one has been on the bike but never packed. 300 clams takes it.

Bigger than a tank bag and great for carrying your pets, AR-15's, rolls of concertina wire, claymores and all other manner of outdoor swag.

    PM me for details.

I carry drinking water, iboprofen, daily medications, knife, multi-tool, microfiber towel, reading glasses, paper, pen, matches, tire pressure gauge, hair brush (got a lot of hair!), tank bag rain cover, and for bug clean up I use lens cleaning tissues in little packets (walgreen's). Oh, and a pill bottle with a couple extra pairs of ear plugs. I keep my cell phone in my jacket pocket.

I always carry extra ear plugs, a microfiber cloth with a tiny spray bottle of Plexus. A very small portable weather radio goes in on occasion.

Regarding kickstand pads: I always have one for each bike and they are very nice, heavy duty plastic pads courtesy of my State Farm insurance agent. If you have insurance with State Farm, ask about them if you don't have one already.

Kundalini, here's a linky to the cover I was referring you . I know they are a bit pricey, but they fit in your tank bag very nicely, and I am very happy with mine. I commute sometimes and where I park is dusty and the businesses around there have been known to screw up peoples paint jobs.......not to mention the sun....
