well, first off its an 85 VF700F, to clear that up.

secondly, if i hadn't lost my job, my apartment, my 03 pilot, and my 03 600RR within months of each other and actually HAD another form of transportation to get me up there, that would be a GREAT idea. But thanks for reminding me how shitty my life has become due to this economy. i truly appreciate it.

lastly, since this is a public forum, designed to help out others who share a particular passion, i was hoping someone might be nice and helpful enough to let me know, since i sincerely doubt i am the first person to do this.

so, once again. does anyone know the carb size? and once again, thanks in advance for answering my question.

    but dude....are we mindreaders??

you need to state what bike & what year at least.

you can order new carb boots from the dealer's parts fishe

if you're short of cash you should know that a jetkit's bad for fuel mileage.

enough about how we are a bunck of sorry bastards that ever roamed the earth...
Pull your carbs off take the bus down to were ever you need to go and your done. or have a friend drive you.jesus is it that hard to do?

Now that A:I've sobered up, and B:I've effectively pissed off some knowledgeable people, let me give this another shot.

I've got an 85 VF700F. I'm switching jets and putting on pod filters later this week. I would like to know the carb inlet sizes so i don't have to walk to my shop to get them (FYI, i work at cycle gear here in Plano, but this VF is my only vehicle,) once i take off the tank and airbox. Any help given would be greatly appreciated, and i apologize for my previous posts.

crusty and squirellman, thanks for offering your help and sorry. crusty, you are absolutely right that millions of people are screwed right now, and at least i have family that put a roof over my head when the crap hit the fan. believe me, i understand on the student loan thing. I have $62K that luckily i consolidated in 07 when i graduated. That was before interest. Good luck with yours, they are a PITA.
