I just did a antifreeze and oil change .I used the Honda blue fluid for antifreeze .I used a K%N filter and Motoul 5100 10w40 .

When I took the right fairing off I saw indentation to my rad .Is this in need of replacement ?Can I get it fixed at a rad repair shop ?

unless its leaking i dont think that you'll NEED a new radiator. but it definitely has lost some efficiency. i couldnt see how any one could repair that to like new... your best bet would be keeping an eye out for a good used one on ebay.

Big deal......your radiator has lost just less than 1% of its cooling capacity.

This is a great project for a cold, rainy day.

Take off the guard and----what i like to do is smoke a big joint cuz this will take you some time--and use a small, appropriately sized knife blade or exacto knife to get in there and carefully bend back the fins. it can be done, but takes lots of time and a technique which you will learn through experiment.

you have a good result after the damaged area almost matches the rest and you can see light through the area........you have 2-3
    hours to waste, right??

Any idea how this tragedy happened??

start at the outer limit of the damage and work toward the center....

BTW; congrads for living in the GTA, one of the best spots on ANY continent only spoiled by traffic congestion on any highway beginning with a "4".....and oh, yes, and the garbage strike.
