Okay, I've read over and over again on the forums and I want to make sure I've got this right.

    Front wheel Conversion:

CBR 600 F1 / Hurricane - No modification, bolt on affair.

CBR 600 F2 - Shave rotor posts down 11mm to center rotors with calipers, uses same speedo drive and will bolt on after machining of posts is complete.

The information never mentions which spacers to use and which rotors to use. Do I use the VFRs Rotor or the CBRs Rotor? Spacers from the VFR I imagine, but I could be wrong?

Yes but I don't intend on swapping the whole front end out, just the wheel.

Awesome, I'm guessing this is for the F2 Front wheel, none of the sites ever mention needing spacers for the front? I always assumed they used the stock spacers from the VFR, is this not the case?

yes this is for the f2 front wheel, im pretty sure you will need some spacer machined up for that front wheel, just checking but your just swapping the front wheel not the front end right? also contact jamie D. through his web site he can give you 100% clear info on this matter... take some picture's of it lets see her.

I have a hurricane front wheel and the spacers if your interested. I am doing a complete front end change so I won't be needing them and I could use some cash for some clip-ons. It could also include the rotors and brakes as well.

Keep in mind that the Hurrican front wheel probably won't make a big difference. At least, not nearly to the degree that the F2 front would. The only benefit you would get in going with the Hurricane wheel is it's a Ø17". It's the same 2.5" width as the stock VFR700 so tires are still a problem. The F2 front wheel can take the same modern rubber used on the brand new bikes.

Do you produce the spacer kits needed for the F2 wheel conversions?

It may sound crude but here is what I did. I installed everthing, wheel, rotors, calipers and axel, then spun the wheel and activated the brakes. took the calipers and made a mesurement, then cut new spacers. It tracks awesome. Just perfect. Maybe I was dumb luckey.
