rubo, you got serious talent there! If one door closes, there are others that open. Maybe, events like this just open doors for other opportunities out there.

Ever hear the phrase "there aren't any atheists in foxholes"? Funny how that works.

By the way, you are an extremely talented artist!

    Kissing rich-folks' asses can't be a good job.....at least your driver's license wasn't suspended !!

You may be unusually fixated upon the lower human extremities, but your work looks damn good!

I hear ya Rubo. I keep getting threatened with losing my job because the only managing my manger knows how to do is fire people. I have been blessed so far because someone else has been there to point out the value I bring to the table that out weighs the few short falls. Is there someone there htat knows your true value that you can get to speak on your behalf?
Or is one of those jobs you might be better off leaving behind?
Only you can answer that one. Good luck.

HAHA you actually made me laugh!!
I have vast collection of works over yrs that are none figurative. I love figurative art because its the most challenging.
Sold many works but kept the best for me....I would do it full time if I can sell it consistently but that's tough hence me doing crappy jobs...

Few more works that are different from what I posted earlier
    1. Duduk player.Armenian instrument with deep sound dating thousands of yrs.Made by mullbary tree wood.
Do a google search and listen some.Amazing instrument.Anyway the painting is about life and death. If you look carefully you'll see a skull.
    2.Simple still life
    3. Complex large abstraction about Genocides inspired from my anger about humans killing humans.

    Take care

You are quite talented. Maybe use this moment of suffering to further your art...

OH...Yes they do........ I'm retired del. driver, big company..... People know dam- well what they're doing when they complain.... That's why they do it.... The only thing you can do is suck it up and be pleasant........ no eye ball rolling either...... just keep telling yourself, they're the ones with the problem.... don't let them have a chance to control your life......... Go for a ride and think about riding technique......... NO MORE ATTITUDE (showing it that is)

    Oof, sorry to hear it.

When I was in that position I was usually lucky enough to have the kind of managers who would pretend to take complaints seriously but would let us know that we were more important than the problem... I've also been written up for correcting a manager (she was wrong and I don't think that I was rude, so it really was a WTF moment).

The best piece of advice I got while training to bus and wait tables was "Get out before it scars you." I wish that I had taken that more seriously, before the PTSD set in. When you're learning a profession and a former prostitute (male, gay) tells you something like that, you should listen!
I say don't stop trying to do something that you love instead, even if it pays less.

    Carry on, feel better.

[The art is quite pleasing, too!]

Looks like every village does indeed have their one idiot or barking dog....
Above refers to an individual with mentally challenged comments. We already established who that is.

Thanks for your good intentioned comments. It actually helped me somewhat get on positive sides of things.

    Rubio,
Hopefully your job situation will improve and you can spend your time doing something you enjoy. I may be slightly skewed after spending a lot of time in shith0le counties overseas, but I like the last painting in your series of three. Good color and powerful composition.

That's the purpose of this brotherhood. To uplift when one is down. Now, saddle up and go for a solitary ride- you'll find inner peace.

Let me echo the above sentiments. I understand that environment because I have done the same job for awhile. Like many here, I suggest using the experience as a learning too; take the time to decide if it is worth sticking with it. I also find your art very enjoyable.
    Keep up the spirits!

Most jobs would be great if it wasn't for the fooking customers. Hopefully whoever complained gets syphillus right in their mouth.

Good luck with your job and hopefully this will lead you to thinking about where you really want to be in life. Maybe you like the pressures of being a server or maybe not. You'll never be able to please everyone, try to focus on the people who left you with a positive feeling of a job well done. We can't expect to change the @ss holes in life, we can only control our actions and our happiness in life....

Like others have said, take a solo ride (after traffic clears), and focus on your happiness...
