I'll bring back an old thread...

    1. 2004 Honda CRF50
    2. 1972 Yamaha DT125
    3. 1970 Suzuki TS250 Savage
    4. 1999 Suzuki GS500
    5. 2001 Suzuki GS500
    6. 1978 Suzuki GS500
    7. 1997 Suzuki GSX600 Katana
    8. 1989 Ninja 600
    9. 2005 Kawasaki Z750S
    10. 1982 Suzuki GS1100EZ (still own)
    11. 2007 Honda VFR800 RWB (still own)

The Ninja I sold without ever getting it to run, the Katana I parted out, the DT125 and TS250, I never had on the road. The GS1100EZ I am still working on but is very close to being roadworthy. KLR650 or similar may be in the near future.

Let's see. Been riding for 33 years so the memory is not that sharp anymore!

Honda 125 - old, don't know the year, red flared fenders, chrome and rubber on the sides of the tank for gripping - 16 years old, 500 bucks - all was good in my world!

    Suzuki 380 two stroke
    1977 Honda 400four - bought new - amazing bike!
Suzuki GS1100E - bought new - another amazing bike!
    Suzuki GS 750
    Yamaha Venture Royale
    Yamaha RD350
1989 Honda Pacific Coast - bought new - had this one for a while - ahead of it's time!
    1999 Yamaha XT350
1998 Honda VFR800FI - written off due to a car rear ending me at a stop light
1999 Honda VFR800FI - my bike now (and lovin' it)!

By far (other than the 2 VFR's) the bikes that I bought new were the best and kept the longest.

These would cover about 45 years of riding, but I've not bought a new bike since I got the VFR in 2000, and only three bikes since 1986.

    1. Honda S65
    2. Honda S90
    3. '71 Honda CB 350
    4. '71 Triumph Bonneville
    5. '73 Triumph Bonneville
    6. '72 Kawasaki Z1
    7. Yamaha 920 Virago
    8. '76 Triumph Bonneville
    9. '76 Yamaha XS 750
    10. '69 Bultaco Matador
    11. 3 Yamaha DT 175's
    12. Suzuki TS 185
    13. Yamaha RD350
    14. Yamaha RD400
    15. '80 Suzuki GS1000G
    16. '84 Honda VF700R
    17. '86 Yamaha FJ1200
    18. '82 Honda Gold Wing
    19. '99 Honda VFR

It seems like there's a few missing but can't recall which ones. My favorite would be the VFR natch, and my least favorite would have to be the Yamaha XS750, a real POS.

Alright, I'll try to remember all of them.

    1) 2005 Suzuki SV650N (great bike, but had to sell it for #2)

    2) 2001 VFR800 (the best bike ever built)

Dang, that was hard. Even worse than Derstuka's three.

Well, here's my list in ownership order:

May 84, used 83 Honda VT600T Ascot, traded in Mar 85
Mar 85, new 85 Honda VF700f Interceptor (blue and white), destroyed in May 88 by newspaper reading cager at red light.
April 86, new 86 Kawasaki GPZ550, traded in Mar 87
Mar 87, new 87 Kawasaki ZX750f Ninja (Pearl Cosmic black), traded in Feb 92
Feb 92, new 90 Honda CBR1000f, (Silver and grey), sold on Dec 30 1996 at 1735 for the most evil reason possible, to replace a car

Then, after 8 years, 1 month, 5 days, 21 hours and 30 minutes condemned to life in cages

Feb 05 2005, a beautiful new 05 Honda VFR (Silver Frost Metallic), paid for 100% cash (SCREW YOU, bad credit score!)

Now, I'm waiting for the VFR1000 to come out. It's gonna have 8 cylinders, a self recharging hydrogen fuel cell, A KITT class AI instead of ECM and nanotech maintenance/repair system! Really and truely!

Starting about ten years ago, with some gaps in between.

?? Virago 250 -gotta start somewhere. Rusted in pieces.
91 VFR - sold due to relocation
    92 VFR - ditto
    02 CBR F4i - stolen
    92 VFR - own

*I'd like to swap for a 91 or a 93. And if I had a bigger stable, I would like to add red 5th gen.
