There is a thread on the SVRider forum about the modification you most regret making to your bike. Lots of good info!

I really haven't modified anything, so I have nothing to say, other than "post away!" so the rest of us can learn.

For me it would be the Dumbo look a like mirror extenders. There needed though so I guess it's not that bad, but don't fancy the look.

Ugly paint jobs. I understand some people want to come up with an unique look but fortunately I've seen only a few VFRs that just look pretty nasty.

Dropping the bike onto myself in the garage. That was definitely some scratches & a pulled muscle I could have done without.

    KC-10 FE out...

Pulling off the Stock Headers, and gutting them - but removing the entire converter with the center dividing section. Had some great top-end for some strange reason, but it chugged like a V-twin at the bottom.

Definately not my finest decision. Would have fixed but was too expensive to cut back open and have someone weld in a wall and weld back up...god-aweful expensive. Just went with the expensive Motad's instead!

On second thought, this might not be the best forum for this thread...

Worst mod? Thats tough. Probably installing that alarm. It required me splicing into some sensitive wires, and I'm afraid it has caused issues.

Installing that dumb-ass traffic light changing magnet. P.T.Barnum was right, and I'm the living proof.

The "P.T. Barnum" comment indicates otherwise, lol. He's known for a lot of quotes, but I'm guessing the one Knife is referring to is "there's a sucker born every minute."

I could lie and say I didn't, but I'm a lousy liar. Yep, I bought one. Yep, that makes me a dumb ass. By the way, I'll sell it to you cheap.

P.S. I still crack up every time I see your avatar. You are one interesting looking he/she.
