Solo for the first 2 days, same the last two, 2 of us the rest of the time from the bighorns down and back to the beartooth..After another spring headache figuring out what newer bike to buy and looking back at the duds i have been thru trying to replace the vfr, I finally decided I have the perfect ride already..soooo...I just got the 00 out today, licensed, tuned up, new tires and a quick test ride.Been riding my old 900f till now...Pack tomorrow and outa here thurs am..looks like a good day to Helena..should be a good one to get my arse in shape for the summer..:)
Just bought me the big jug of baby powder and a jar of painkillers and I am ready to go!!! will make a new site when I get home as no computer or cell phone for me..

Might go back to Manitoba with my buddy and then back home so should get near 10,000km outa the old girl this time out...grrr..another set of tires!!!!!

Anyone here near my route?? wave eh?????

Think it will be roughly a BC,idaho, colorado, califonia and back N loopy route come aug with the kid if the bike still runs..:) Will be getting some info from you CA fellows then!!!

Looks like fun. I spent a few years in Steamboat Springs back in the early 80's. Great country.

I plan on heading from Washington down to So. California around the 10th of August and then back the following week. If you are heading that way and want to ride for a few days with someone let me know.

Make sure you detour south from Jacob Lake and see the Grand Canyon, the road in alone is worth it. Good luck, have fun.

Yep!! left lotsa time that day for things like that!!! , so now planning on it. thanks! and whoever helped me with the link thanks!

I will only be sore for a day...the second one.:)..by now I have usually done 1 or more of my 2100km one dayer ride to MB, but so far have avoided that scenic route..so will hurt for a day or so as not in shape yet.....then fine..
