Hi Folks, I just wanted to give a :thumbsup: to some new bar ends I recently purchased from HVMP (Hudson Valley Motorsports Parts) in Putnam, NY. >>> www.hvmp.com <<< I ordered a set of their long bar ends for Honda on several recommendations from different VFRW members. First off, HVMP's customer service was awesome. I emailed them about ordering from Canada and within the hour I received a response. Not only was the response quick but they also informed me there was no additional S&H charges to Canada. Which is NOT the norm for ordering stuff from the U.S to Canada. The total cost of the bar ends was $54.00 + $9.50 (S&H) for a grand total of $63.50 USD to my door. I thought was very reasonable. It was definitely reasonable once I received the bar ends. I ordered the long set and they are made very well and from quality stainless steel. Even the bolt and lock washer are made from stainless steel. Here are some pics of the bar ends before and after installation. Stock Bar Ends - 4.8oz / 140g HVMP Long Bar Ends - 14.4oz / 405g HVMP's bar ends are almost 3x the weight of the stock bar ends and work much better the the stock ones. While I was at it, as you can see, I also replaced my stock grips with some ProGrip gel grips on recommendations for more VFRW members. With the new grips and bar ends, the handlebar vibration is completely eliminated! I have to really concentrate on my hands to feel even the slightest vibration now. The vibrations with the stock grips and bar ends was tolerable for short rides but on longer rides, I found it annoying. IMO, the HVMP bar ends are more than worth the price. And IMO, they look better than the stock bar ends too. So if you're looking for some quality bar ends from a company that knows how to serve it's customers, give HVMP a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. And if you don't want bar ends are as large or as heavy, they also sell a short version of their bar ends. I'm not sure of their weight but I'm sure they could tell you, if you wanted to know before ordering a set. >>> HVMP Honda Bar Ends <<< Just thought I would share. :thumbsup:
