Hey guys, I admit I haven't read this entire thread...

But I work at a dealership so I figured I could share my insight, my apologies if i'm being redundant.

In dealing with Honda, i've never seen them say anything about this bike being limited quantity. I believe they produced as many as they would have any other color, perhaps a little more because of its popularity. It will become a collectors item none the less, but I don't think it is ever going to be an incredibly rare bike.

To this day, two years after initial manufacturing, the RWB is STILL AVAILABLE at most honda Warehouses. In other words, if I wanted to, I could go order an RWB today and have it in a week. They also have great rebates on any 07 vfr right now, so you can get them at a good price.

I feel like the dealers that stated they are limited quantity like 1000 or 2000 units were being a little dishonest in order to make a sale....But hey I could be mistaken.

And regardless of how many they've made....it's still an incredible looking bike!

Hmm actually 1000 produced is probably accurate. Just got my VIN, bike just shipped from factory about a month ago and its number 774.

    Only 226 to go! ..maybe.

Just bought a brand new 07, 0 miles RWB-ABS. $8498 + ttl. Feels like a good deal. I pick it up from the Dallas dealer next Saturday.
Sorry, I don't have the VIN yet.

Also, I really would like to know how many of these bikes were built. Not that it matters, I would have bought mine if RWB was the only color scheme available. I like it.

I am having a hard time believing the VIN is color specific. I expect the order could bounce back and forth between colors.

'OK here we have the next ten chassis and four will get RWB plastics' (loosely translated from Japanese)

    Just a thought.

I own #210 w/abs...evil twin to the one posted in chattanooga. I bought it off of ebay with zero miles for $7999. 5/30/09 picked it up in PA. Funny thing is I live in TN so I could have gotten the other 210 as well how funny would that be??

BTW the wheels were turned white as soon as I got it home I never rode on the black wheels.

Are you saying that you've got two RWB bikes that both have a VIN that ends in 210? If so, can you post the VINs? That might shed some light on how to determine ABS from non-ABS as well as whether each type has their own numeric sequence.

    I do not have two,

However Sandalwood posted this VIN# "HM07-900210 VFR800S7 2007 INTERCEPTOR 25TH ANNIVERSARY RED/WHITE/BLUE" as being in Chattanooga which is only 100 miles or so away. were as my vin number also ends in 900210 not sure where the hm07 is from?? but mine is from PA. and it has the abs where as the one he posted doe not. if i had the full vin on the other we could compare them.

Well this is my first post, but since this is the thread that got me here, I thought it fitting.

I own JH2RC46627M901043, I got it last summer, from my local dealer in MI. He said he had it on the floor for over a year, so I got it for $9600+junk. Then, when they were prepping it, the mechanic laid it down! They obviously fixed it up at their cost, then gave me my $2000 worth of junk for free...

I've only got about 2500 miles on it or so, and I hadn't even remembered the rims, but now that everyone is mentioning it, I remember and think I'll do that too.

I had actually been thinking about painting them blue (cause the black is ugly), to match the blue on the bike, as the M4 Suzuki race team has blue rims on their bikes, and I love that. But, now I'll go white...

I used to race Gixers when they first came out, 20+ years ago. Hadn't been on a bike since, but my wife loved the Interceptor and I had loved them since I was in high school when they came out, so...

Sorry for the long post, but anyway, hello everyone.
