So I'm really not one for these online forums, but my buddy swears by his Kawi forum. And since I am a first time bike owner as of yesterday, I guess now is the time to try it out. I bought my first bike, a 1985 VF700F, from my friend when he finished a TLR street fighter he had been building. The engine is in great shape and pretty much every thing works. With a right front signal bulb replacement it should pass inspection just fine. I really don't know what the heck to right on this thing, so I think that is going to do it for me. Matt
Well I guess all that can be said is welcome. Your first bike should produce memories and experiences that last a lifetime. As far as the forums go. Sit back, relax and take it all in. Oh and before you post about oil, filters, tires, bearings or other commonly replaced or debated items, do a search. It's all been covered many, many times! Have fun.
Welcome , remember to keep the rubber down and the shiny side up  . have you taken it for a ride yet? pics ? Lots of great information in the forums about upkeep and repair, this site has answered every question I have had so far about my 86 vf500f and she is almost ready for her first test ride.... I have been told these bikes are fun as hell in the corners  Regards, Will R. Everett, WA.
Welcome to the funny farm!!! We want pics of that old girl!!! If you stick around a while I'm sure you'll become addicted to these forums. This is a great place to make new friends meet new riding buddies. You'll also find this forum a great place to get useful information about maintaining and repairing your bike! Regards, Rollin
Another thing I like about these boards is that they help me to meet people who live near the mountains so that I have a place to crash when I go snowboarding in the winter. wink: - hint hint) Regards, Rollin
I am not greedy and I am willing to reciprocate. Anytime any of your guys don't feel like there is enough violent crime in your lives you are welcome to come and stay with me in this $hithole called metro Atlanta. Regards, Rollin
