Four from Canada so far and probably a few US riders. Overnight in Leanworth, Wa. - apparently a little Bavarian theme town. Weinershnitzel and Lowebrau, anyone!!!

Chomper will be the route suggester, using Destination Highways. No I-5 shit on this ride!!

 

did I catch a glimpse of one of you getting of a ferry at horseshoe bay saturday morning?

was heading for hornby, returned monday afternoon, great island riding.

I agree with Kingsley here, There isn't much representation for this ride from the LMD. How about you people from Vancouver Island. We would love to have you on hand too. What's up guys. Are we just pretend riders here or what?

It will be a great ride, and so far good company. Check you calenadars and come out for the weekend.

 

I will be a last minute person if i can make it would love the ride, but its the end of ball season.....

so im thinking of leaving maple ridge at around 1:00, swing through mission, then follow #7 out to harrison. from the 'wack, do you go through abby, then mission, or do you hook up to #7 near chilliwack? if you go through mission we could meet up at the travel info place on the north side of mission...

 

I would take Hwy 1 to 9, then across Agassiz Rosedale bridge, through Agassiz then up to Hwy 7 & 9 and to Harrison. The probable meet would be Hwy 7 & 9. But alas, things have changed for me today and can't do it. Another time for sure.

I am curious about the "CDL" in your name. I wonder if it means the same to you as it does to me?

If you need a hotel try Howard Johnson's - Leavenworth.

I think the Quality Inn is saying :2 day min."

There are tons of hotels and B&Bs as well.

 

Man, not much action this year on this thread! I'm heading out of town for a coulple weeks. I'd like to get a ride together for Aug. 22 or 23 if there is any interest. Maybe a long day ride across the border or Hope - Princton - Merrit - Spences Bridge loop.

It's been too hot lately for me. The other Honda of the air-conditioned cage variety has been more appealing.

Day Ride

Stay tuned. I will be posting a day ride to Vancouver Island in a couple days for mid Septemebr. Just too busy right now.

 

Just got back from Leavenworth again, this time via the cage with the fam. Was a great trip once again. Hwy 2 was very nice and would be a nice ride if we ever went that way in the future.

I'll check my calender and seen what's going on.

 

Aug sucks for me, neither of those days will work unfortunately.

I wonder why this thread is so sleepy this year? The weather isn't the reason is it? we just don't like sunny and hot days...

quick question

just a quick question for the lower mainland group..

I am from Squamish and just got a 06 VFR..... I am thinking about lowering it using the post for flipping the triangle.

has anyone done this or know anyone who has tried it yet...
