thanks for the laughs guys, it did leak a little bit of fuel but nothing to cry about, as for not picking her up right away i need some help shes kinda heavy so any tip on picking up a bike would be helpful and the reason i took pics was because i was waiting on my help and any damage that was going to be done was done i will post pics of the scratches later.

Ok, ok! I'll confess too. I used to park the lady on a brick patio. One evening, I started to ride off the pad when the front wheel locked up, a major symptom of Dumbassriderdidntremovedisclockitis. She was leaning to the right and with my leg positioned close to the inside best I could do was stop her at about a 45 degree angle, beyond what I could reverse one-legged. I used the right leg to brace the bike til I got the left positioned, then let her settle down gently on the right handlebar end (she was only a few months old and I was damned well not gonna let her hit hard). Once I unpinned my right leg out from under the bike (yes, I let the bike settle on the leg on purpose because I'd heal, the bike'd cost $$$ to repair) I was able to brace properly and use both legs to right the bike. Long story no shorter, thanks to the wheels still being on the patio (with it's slight elevation off the ground) and the right handlebar, there are only a few light, hard to spot scratches on the exhaust collector and the lower fairing adjacent to the collector. To date, that's the only drop she's taken and if that's all, I'll count myself blessed...

This is the official way to pick up a bike endorsed by every safety organization I have seen.

    YouTube - NB's F6550GS - How to pick up a motorcycle

I know that the overwight grandma has a hard time picking the bike up, but I have seen 120lbs ladies pick thier bikes up using this method in other videos, but the instrcustions were not as clear as this one. I havent tried this yet, as I used a method made for smaller bikes and to be honest it was a bitch. If I should ever pick up another bike this will be the way I try first. Hope this helps!

Same concept. One handle on the (love) HANDLE one hand on the (boob)bar. then back your butt up in the saddle (belly) and push back into her.

Damn! Them Bavarian Cupcakes can take a beating. Looks like you have some luck if the bike is on its right. Then when you pick it up if you over shoot too the left, the side stand may help. Overall really good video.

There are 2 kinds of riders.
Those that have dropped their bike.
    And those that haven't ......yet.

I was out for a ride today with a buddy and we swapped bikes for the last leg. At the last stop sign before home, I NEARLY dropped his new bike on it's right side. It is a 2004 BMW R1150R. They have a high first gear and you really have to feather the clutch on the start up. Being a v-four owner, I am not used to this. I used ALL of my right leg to keep that baby up since he was behind me and watching it all happen. I was 1/8th of a mile from my house. That would have sucked.
But the truth is, bikes get tired from time to time and then they lay down.------------------------ss

I wasnt going to say anything.........but I had the same idea.

    All that curvy plastic

But I made a nice soft pallet for mine first, easier on the knees.

About the pics though.......maybe next time, if she'll let me, I told her trust me baby these will never be seen by anyone but us. I would never ever put something like that on the interwebz
