I am trying to buy some new black lug nuts, and I am just wondering what size/pitch etc... our lugs nuts are.

The service manual for my '99 says they are 12mm thread. I did some measuring: the overall length of the nut is 1.530 inches, I measured with my dial calipers and it looks like there is .750 inch of thread on the inside of the nut, the stud length through the wheel is about .515 inch but is longer if you go to bottom of bevel. Don't know what the bevel angle is, sorry. Hope this helps.

Hold the phone a minute, Its not that easy, you can get the proper thread size at all the places the guys listed;thats a given, however the problem is that the Honda lug is rounded ,I think they refer to it as a bell mouth type, and the lugs that you get at Pep boys or Auto Zone just have a straight chamfer. So what you have is a mis-match on the wheel with regard to the lug. Now as far as I know, if you use the non VFR lugs it will have a tendency to chew up the mating surface on the wheel. All I can say is,if you go with the auto parts store lugs be cautious. eddie

I would bet money that nuts from a Accord or civic would be a perfect match. Just make sure the angle is the same on the end of the nut that faces the rim.

not saying to buy lug nuts at auto parts store - you can bring in lug nut to ck the thread and pitch.
and the lugs from my subbie worked in a pinch.

and now i see why the cunfusion half my post did not make it on to thread when comp locked up on me.
what was missing was auto parts store have disply w/ studs of all sizes - you bring in a lug nut and start screwing them on too studs until you find the correct one and look at tread and pitch numbers.
