I did a search of the site and came up empty .

Is there a thread with pictures on how to change the pads front and back.My online manual the pictures are crap.

Should I be thinking of changing the brake lines soon ?The bike is ten years old .Wouldn`t the lines be getting tired ?I checked online and steel line kits are $400 !

I have a TBR can on the bike .But the header is stock .It`s starting to look tired too .Is there a place to purchase the header alone to match the can ?

I like to replace things before I get stuck with a broken bike .

I've got a '99 too. IMO the only thing you notice (or probably not really) is that after a few years the brake lines will swell a bit more when used so your brakes won't seem as crisp as when they were new. You can replace them if the bike has spent most of its life exposed to the elements, but I would change out the brake fluid for sure if it hasn't been changed. Mine look fine but it is always garaged, and Son-of-a-Gun'ed regularly.

Without a bit more details: mileage, overall condition, wrecked or not, etc. it's tough to say what really needs to be done.

The headers should be okay unless they too have been exposed to salt or corrosion. They just look that way.

I have 45 000 km on the bike .It is in very good to good condition for 10 year old bike .

The header is looking a bit worn. The brake fluid looks very clear .

I just bought this bike so I`m unsure of it complete past .
