Welcome and if your patient and keep you eye out on the classifieds, craigslist and Ebay youll find the parts you need at a good price. Welcome to the forum! Where do you live?
welcome fellow georgian, there are many of us that live in georgia. welcome to the brother-hood
joey_dude,wrestler,park800,mtlovesst,and few other's welll and me too ride pretty regular,we shoudl all meet up and ride together some time??
Like Matt said welcome, the Georgia riders group can always use a new recruit, you have to shave your head and let everyone borrow your bike for a week. At least that is what they told me when I joined and I'm still waiting to get mine back. Good luck with the work ahead and congrats on the new bike.
Yeah you're in luck we got some georgia guys here. As a matter of fact we got a ride going on May 16th through cherolaha skyway and tail of the dragon. Check it out at http://vfrworld.com/forums/trips-events/22406-cherohala-skway-tail-dragon-ride-may-15-16-a.html We'd like to see you there, oh and like park800 said, you do have to show up with a bald head and hand over the keys LOL Seriously, sometime we swap each other's rides just for fun and to compare the various generations. I got to ride park800's 6th gen a few weeks ago and it's very smooth compared to mine. Plus I've ridden matt's 86 VFR, light doesn't begin to describe it! BTW, your 2000 VFR model is very similar to my 1999 bike and if you ever have any mechanical questions feel free to drop me a line. I know a thing or two about them, I've done valve clearance inspections, changed thermostat (a big pain in the a$$), changed oil, spark plugs, air filter, even adjust suspension and raised the forks. So you won't be dealing with some idiot that just got the bike yesterday.
that is the picture of when i first seen it and bought it. it runs now, replaced broken parts except for headlight and plastic
the ones at nicecycle.com are a little more but you can get any paint scheme they have for any fairing set no matter what bike make.
