I'm bringing my buddies burb and sleeping in the back. No sharpies!!! However, there wasn't any this last time. I'm also going wine shopping when I get there.

Maybe I'll ride the bike all the way out. That would save me the ear bleeding experience with Chick. She would probably want to ride along in the burb again. Wait!!! That was kinda fun. Ok, I'll have to decide later.

    Sloiv?

    Howdy, howdy!

My internet was down, so I missed out on postings since April 14, but am caught up now. The chicken Condo is almost finished.

Yesterday my wife took care of Fred Merkel's mother at the hospital (minor procedure). She said Fred lives in New Zealand now and is married to a gal from there. He has a riding school and a metal fabricating business there. She's going to give me some Fred Merkel posters. If you aren't familiar with the name, he was Honda's US Superbike star in the early days of the Interceptor and won three AMA Superbike Championships and two WSB Championships on them. He had wings on his helmet.

"An excellent street bike, the original Interceptor also posted eight AMA Superbike victories, including the Daytona 200, and finished second in the series. Three years later, Honda gave the Interceptor a complete make-over. First, they added an "R" to the "VF." Next, they redesigned the V-4 engine with a geared cam-drive, offering more peak power. Then they mounted the engine to an aluminum racing frame, covered it with a full fairing and lopped off almost 45 pounds in the process. Finally, in superbike trim, Fred Merkel won the AMA Superbike Title and Wayne Rainey finished second. Above all else, the all-new VFR750F retained its street-wise comfort and balance.

Perhaps I can bring those to SLOIV for a door prize.

    Glad to be back.
