I live in Half Moon Bay and work in South City. I ride down to SC once in a while to see a friend.

Steering stem's done, rear-end is back together, just need to get the front-end back together (and wait for the brake pads to arrive).. should be rideable this weekend, if not, I'll be back to riding to work again by mid next week.

    So I missed SLO III....

But would definitely like to meet up sometime, Alice's or somewhere else with nice views and nice roads.

SCruz works, as does pretty much anything penninsula/south-bay. Further with some planning. It's an old bike, I get nervous when I get far from home with it.

But I'd love to ride up to Gualala this summer...

I wouldn't worry about an 86... I still rode my 1976 CB750F up until i needed a clutch. Once i get the clutch sorted out I plan to ride it more. I've gone on 150-200 mile a day trips on it; come on, it's a Honda! :thumb:

Ever since it left me on the side of the road with a dead R/R, I've been a little gun-shy.

But when I ride it to work, it's 70 miles a day, so I guess it *IS* pretty reliable.

And yeah, it's a honda...

Post up when you're back on 2 wheels. I'm sure we can get quite a few people up to Alice's, Hwy 9 and all points in-between. I'm up in El Cerrito but have made the trip to SC quite a few times.

All assembled, but the clutch master got some air in it when hanging when the forks were pulled to do the steering stems.

Will be riding it to work this week after I take care of that!

    Back in the saddle again!

Rode the bike on Sunday. We had both bikes finally running again, so took them down to West Cliff to see how they are doing. It was a beautiful day for a ride.

Then rode it in to work today. I'm loving the new tires. SOOO soft and sticky.

Don't recognize the statue, although I see eucalyptus and cypress trees in the background, so you're on the coast somewhere. Google tells me you're on stagecoach road, which is pretty, although I haven't gone it's full length from Pescadero to San Gregorio.

Although I was at Duartes not too long ago (Valentines, actually).

Yeah, try it sometime. It can be a scenic break from the summer wind and fog north of Bean Hollow Beach, en route to Alice's

Or due east from Pescadero until you hook back up with Rte.84...Nice!

I mainly lurk over at BARF. It is a good site though. I've met a few people from there while riding Hwy 9 and 35.

Anybody wanna try and get a ride together soon?

We should try and get something together. We only have another month or 2 before the rain comes...

Los Altos here, (15 miles below Alice's Restaurant) on the Peninsula.

Maybe we can meet there on some weekend.

Have been riding these great roads for many, many years.

    Carry On ~
