    I'm new to VFRW, just bought a red '07 about three weeks ago and rode it straight to Florida after the break in. The bike is amazing. I'm in southern MD looking for some riders around DC/Annapolis/Baltimore. Just an intro, I'm Tim.

    I just bought my "new to me" 2006 on Friday. I'm in Glen Burnie and my maiden ride (other than bringing it home) was down to the Chesapeake beach area, lots of nice back roads if you avoid route 2.

    Welcome Tim! Good choice (I have the same year/color)!
    You and Serenitty are making me homesick. I grew up in Bethesda but am in Tucson these last 30 years. I miss Chincoteague and some of the other beautiful areas. I don't miss the horribly impacted traffic though! I hope you find a VFR buddy close by...enjoy the Forum!
