New to the site

Hi All,

Just thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Mark and I recently picked up a beautiful 1997 VFR. I've had it about 3 weeks now and have put almost 100 miles on it.

I've found forums to be a great source of information and camraderie, hoping I'll find that here as well!

So far on the bike, I've put new rubber on front and back, and done the CPU fan mod on the the R/R.

The central coast is a great place to be. You just missed our great get together in Atascadero. Don't worry, there will be another.

 

Thanks! About how long ago was the ride? I remember seeing a bunch of VFR's rolling south on HWY 1 about 3 weeks ago. At the time I was on the fence about buying mine...so I took that as a sign!

Also, is that a 421 behind your bike?

Welcome Mark! I have 4 gen too and there are about 5 local riders on this forum. We get together in Atascadero at Reg71 house as he is the best BBQer but we can always try your place. Reg and I just went thru your town last weekend on a short ride.

 

Last weekend was beautiful! I was riding up near Lake San Antonio. Let me know about the next ride/BBQ, it'd be cool to meet you guys.
