I notice that for all his blowhard leftist rhetoric, Hugo has been very careful not to cause any real rifts in trade relations between the US and his country. The man is all theater and no real threat to anyone but his own people. He's like watching a how to video on manipulating the masses for personal gain. That Obama didn't just blow him off shows that at least he respects the people of Venezuela. Even if they are being duped by yet another corrupt South American politico

Aside to Bubba: the days of Barry Goldwater and William F Buckley are gone ....... Agree or disagree with their philosphy they were icons of civilized discourse and hard to beat in a fight

 

Oh brother bear, how I lament that Goldwater and Buckley have been forgotten by my fellow conservatives.

Hey, I tourtured my wife one day by having Mad Max on for the thousand'th time and she made an interesting observation. She thinks Bubba Zanetti is gay. I asked her what makes you think that?

Wife: "Well, he has zero interest in any of the women (and the few men) that are attacked, but he only takes 'orders' from Toecutter, maybe they are lovers. And if you noticed when the gang is on the beach Bubba is wearing a girls' shirt and big hippy wood beads around his neck, and that is a dead give away". "And the scene were Toecutter says "it's for me Bubba", Bubba acts like an upset lover".

I thought about it for a minute and said, "well it is possible, but I always took Bubba's behavior as being an extreme sociopath. The only reason he hangs with the gang is he found another kindred spirit in Toecutter, another extreme sociopath, and they oddley line up in their thinking. But neither one needs the other. Bubba Zanetti was just a outlaw loner who found a gang where he could do as he chooses becasue the leader allows it. Bubba is the ONLY member who talks back to Toecutter, insults other gang members (mostly Johnny the Boy) but seems remarkably disciplined in trying to kill the Bronze, were the other gang members act like crazies to anybody outside their circle. I never took him as gay, just a weird disciplined nutcase".

What are your thoughts on this fellow Mad Max fiends?

p.s. I do have a Mauser Broomhandle like Bubba, but I don't wear hippy bead necklaces or women shirts, so I think I am OK:wink:

But I do wear womens underwear. Wonder what that means...:tongue:
