    Hey.
I just got my bike out of storage today. Yipeee.
Hopefully someone can give me some advice. When I turn on the ignition I don't get the little whirring noise and the FI light doesn't go off? Any ideas what to check?

Yes. The engine turns over well. Brake and signal lights working, although I didn't look to see if the headlight or tail light came on.

    da black,

Im having the same issues aswell. Hopefully my findings can help.

So your bike cranks (starter starts) but the pump is not working?

check your fuses, you have 2 main fuses at 30amps (green fuse) one in the starter relay, and the other in a clear plastic holder with a red/white wire and re wire going to the batt.

Check to make sure they are ok.

Make sure, you are in neutral.

How the bike operates, if there is no spark detected, there is no fuel.

Whats the charge on the batt?

So to diagnose the issue, first thing you want to check is to see if you have spark.

Lift the gas tank, take the #3 coil cap (one in the back, if sitting on the bike it is the rear right.) and attach a spark plug/ screw driver and bridge that with the ground bolt on the bike. (where all the green wires attach to thats bolted to the frame)

That should get you started in the diagnosis of no spark or not.
