Hi I come from Switzerland and I will receive a 2008 VFR 6gen. next week . My English is not very good, but as I take language course and over this forum will be a very good exercise for me. be cool with my grammatical mistakes..
Welcome Blade. Always nice to hear from you on the other side of the pond. You will enjoy your new ride and also this forum. They are a great bunch...most of them anyways. Warning though. Don't always take me to seriously. And your English is fine. Over here, we have all sorts that have English as a second language
Welcome to the forums Blade. Congratulations on your new bike. Be sure to post some pictures once you receive your new baby! All of us here in the U.S. are very jealous of you since I am sure you have some wonderful roads to ride in Switzerland. Your English seems fine to me. Just remember that languages may vary from country to country but the love for the VFR is universal!! I'm sure you will love your new machine and can't wait to pick her up. Regards, Rollin
Welcome to the madness my friend. You are about to enter a world from which there is no escape!! I know you will LOVE your new VFR.
:welcome: to VFRworld, your English is definitely better than the most of the riders at Reggie's BBQ after a night of drinking of the devil's brew :reg:
Hello and congratulations for your new bike, I live in Mexico, and beside of use this forum to get information and friends who love VFRs, I will try to improve my english too, don´t worry for the idiom i don´t think that nobody will speak your language better than you or spanish better than me.... Send pictures of the new baby.... greetings from San Luis Potosi Mexico.. Saludos desde mexico
Thank you for these supers welcome messages. I began the motor bike at 44 years old, ( last year) with a BMW 650 GS. Excellent motor bike but I'm "annoyed" with this bike. I bought last year an Honda Hornet 600. Super motor bike very "balanced". I chose the VFR for its qualities of "good with doing everything" I will forward you the pictures of the baby. So long..:vtr2:
The best way to keep the BMW from annoying you any more is to give it to me..I'll even pay the shipping  What exactly do you not like about the BMW. The reason I ask is that my brother is considering purchasing one just like it. Regards, Rollin
the only reason is ... it's not a funny bike , not really a lot of power. But a very very good bike for starting . It's like a bicycle. It goes where you want, in all road. This is not really a road bike ( 54 PS one cylinder), and not a all terrain (a little heavy)
