I'm in for riding Friday. Are we going north, or west? It might be too far to go up 28 above Franklin up to the Tail - what are you guys thinking?

Well, right now the weather's not looking good at all for Friday. Let's hope it changes by then. I was planning a loop to include lunch at the Riverwalk rest. outside of Blairsville Ga. on 129. My buddy doesn't get to ride that often and that's one of his favorite destinations when he comes down.

    Hey RC - I went to Google Maps and made this one: from:W Savannah St/US-76 to:GA-197 to:GA-17/GA-75/Unicot Turnpike to:Cleveland St/GA-11/US-129/US-19 to:GA-17/GA-2/GA-515/US-76 to:Hwy-180 Spur to:34.871567,-83.399963 - Google Maps

Hopefully you can click on it (might have to hold down Ctrl). This goes down by Lake Burton, then past Unicoi, then up Richard Russell Scenic Hwy (great road), then Blairesville, then stop at Brasstown Bald, then back to Clayton. It's your trip, so I'm just throwing out ideas.

We'll wait to see about the weather - not so good now.

Sounds pretty good, although i have no interest in going up to Brasstown Bald. We'll see how much time we have and if the weather is favorable. Of course you guys are welcome to extend your riding even if i can't. I'm going to be lucky to get one last ride in on my VFR's front tire. Besides, It wasn't me that suggested a ride on the 10th, i merely posted it to get things going. No worries, it's all good!

Matt could you use a BT56 front 120/60-17 for your F2 wheel? good shape, not cupped, slight wear. I don't want anything for it. i'll send it to you if you pay shipping. I prefer the 120/70-17 so i won't be mounting this back up.

Matt, it's a Bridgestone Battleaxe BT56 front. That should be the correct front if you've got a Battleaxe rear (BT56).
