    The seller did indicate I should get new tires within the next few hundred miles. What are you referring to with the cupping, and should I get new tires more quickly?

    If you look at the front tire you will see sort of a saw tooth wear pattern. That is cupping. Its not like right now urgent, but you should be looking for tires very soon.

    Cupping tire

    I waited too long to replace the front tire and while riding a very rural twisting road the front end started to feel unusual during hard accelerations and decelerations. That one time it happens at the wrong place you’ll regret not replacing a cupped tire. I put a new one on and it was smooth as glass.
