New Ride! (Not a Viffer :( )

I got a new bike this weekend.

Found a deal that I just couldn't pass up, but it wasn't a Viffer.

It's a 2002 Yamaha YZF-600R. It's a great little bike, and a ton of fun to ride. It had about 8750 miles when I bought it, and only had a few scratches here nad there. I bought it from a buddy for $3300 yesterday.

It already had LED flush-mount signals in the front, but the signals in the back were fake carbon fiber, so they had to go. I put some LED signals in their place. A couple of the screws for the windscreen had been lost or busted, so I replaced all of those. It also has blue LEDs for the instrument panel.

Its not a Viffer and not even a Honda but it must be fun to ride!

Thanks guys. It's been fun to ride thus far, and the big advantage over a lot of the bikes I tried out is the seat... SO much more comfortable.

 

My brother owns the same bike in the same color. I must admit, it's a nice bike and a lot of fun. It is quite a bit lighter than the VFR and can be a bit of fun to take a for a ride now and then. It is also quite comfortable for longer trips.

 

Wait til you try a Corbin seat, you'll love it!! It's one of the best mods on mine! :thumbsup:
