Dang, I only have two dial indicators, and they are just analog, now I have tool envy .

Stop doing this to me Ron, soon I will be be forced to buy another VFR just so I can monkey with one and ride the other.

Thanks to your ability to tap my latent urge to change shit I now have a much, much better front suspension on my VFR , and if you continue I cant be responsible for what other things may occur to my bike.

    Kidding aside, nice work NCB

I got two words for ya..........Laguna......Seca

Looks like you are doing what Honda should have done from the start.

Looks like some one has been busy, curious, whats the rest of the bike look like? Ohlins? Marchesi? Brembo?
What I find interesting is how the head is more than half the height of the crankcase.

I must agree...very sharp looking ride. Well done.

But I have to ask...why not Powder Coat the frame, swing arm, and triple tree if you're going with black forks, black rear sets, coated headers, and a bazillion anodized and colored parts? Too much extra work? (nah...can't be that lol)

Btw, what's up with the blue rear shock link plate?

Are you keeping a detailed list of all the mods and their costs?...minus any labour of course.

Just curious, because I'm sure a lot of people here would be very curious what a rebuild like this would cost.....monetarily and time wise.

    Beautiful job!

There wasn't any upside to doing it. Powdercoating those parts would add about 3-5 pounds of weight in paint.

That thing is seriously too clean to put back on the ground. Anyone have a mantle big enough to display this trophy?

I can't wait for the ride report. I'd also like to see the list of modifications. I'm sure it was a lot of money but the satisfaction of completing the project will be well worth it.
