    Hello fellow enthusiasts.

    Just wanted to introduce myself.

I've been riding for 8 years, started off with a 96 600 SRAD, then to a Zx7, then when I moved to San Diego I got a R6.

Now after a year long with out a bike, I finally decided to pick up another one, and I have always loved the V4 and I picked up a VFR.

I ended up with a 2001 VFR, but needs work, I will be going thru the classifieds for some gen 5 parts...

After riding my friends Speed Tripple, and Aprila Touno 1000 R, I decided got skip the fairings and go naked.

Also, if you have an x5, its good to know that the VFR will fit inside with the seats folded down...

no worries, no VFRs were harmed during transport, but I cant say that for the 2 blankets that cushioned the right side of the bike.

I can fit two bikes in my truck:tongue:

I'm pretty jealous though. I pretty much love the look of the Speed Triple but am not sold on giving up a V4 for a triple. I would love to make a 2nd 5th gen into a flat black naked bike. If only I had money to burrrrrrrrrrrrn....

Cool! I'd love to see more nekkid VFR's out there. I've considered it myself more than a few times.

lots of work to do. New front end, delinking, new rear end.

Its a streetfighter project, but it plans not to be overly done. Nothing to out there.

Need to learn to weld or find a friend who welds...anyone want beer in the San Diego Area?

After transporting it, I was very itchy to buy a truck with a large enough bed. But it would be cheaper to get a hitch on the X5 and get a foldable trailer instead.

On a better note, I was able to source out a R1 front end for 250, and get the tripple trees for a SP1 new for less than 200 from the stealership.
