Get some motorcycle training from da fuzz!!!

Basically, if you live in the NC area you can sign up for a free day class with a motorcycle police officer and he'll provide all sorts of tips and training. Very cool in my book! :thumbsup:

 

I read that yesterday too. Looks like a program to watch.

A couple of the more popular MSF instructors here in Central Ark. are retired MC cops.

I think that is an EXCELLENT idea and use of police funding. Let's educate instead of prosecute...what a novel idea. I wish the Michigan State Police would pick this up. They've got plenty of spare time lol.

 

Funny!! I did hear they do provide training for that but for the sake of safety they do demonstrations indoors and you have to stay there for 3-5 years. They provide food, shelter, clothing in the meantime.

 

I assume they don't teach riders how to run from the police? Maybe you can give a class on that Joey LOL!

I wish we had Motorcycle Units in my area. If we did, I would be contacting them yesterday.

Try riding in northern manitoba, they dont want bikes here(as seen in our insurance rates: http://www.mpi.mb.ca/Irc/vehicle.asp just try your bikes rate) cops thankfully can be good or at least indiffernt, and they make it manditory to take a $350.00 course to get your endorsement. the course is good but would be better if it was on your own bike(they provide the bike and you can only use theirs) but the information given (when we asked the right questions) was very usefull
