Ahh yes - Streets of Woodfield squid... You are right on about that. I am interested in this Wednesday night thing. I may have to check it out. I am guessing this isn't happening tomorrow (4th of July?). If it is, I'd go. Not doing anything tomorrow night - all my stuff is day time.

 

Not this wed. They did a small meet last night. But next Wed it is back on schedule. I see you have already registered on CLSB, so come on out next Wed. If you are in Chicago, there is a down town crew you can hook up with to ride to strats. Otherwise, there is the meet at SOW and then there is another down near Naperville I think.

i just registered to this site and just got back from a trip to NC, where i hope to move soon. anyway, i live in saint charles and i've seen a few viffers around but not consistently. my dad doesn't like to ride with me much (yamaha road star) and i'm usually looking for some people to ride with. i prefer to head west - corn is better than traffic - but it'd be nice to have some people to ride with.

I have a ride planned for this Sunday 8/17 to ride from Aurora to Galena or Oswego to Starved Rock (Route 71).

If anyone is interested shoot me a PM and we can exchange contact info. So far it is only three or four bikes, but I'm trying to get more.

 

I'm out in Crystal Lake with a battered 3rd gen...missing most of the plastic, etc. Though, the bikes stuck in Peoria with some electrical gremlins. Once I've got it back, I might be up for a weekend ride now n then...if you could be seen with a cut-up VFR.

a cut up 3rd gen that can keep up is better than riding with my dad's pretty 'n' slow ride. i dont think i ever use more than quarter throttle - i get bored

 

This Sunday we are headed down to Starved Rock from the Aurora/Naperville area. (Straight down Route 71) We have four bikes already and looking for more if anyone is interested. Shoot me a PM and I'll give you more info.

 

I'm trying to get something together for Labor Day weekend, let me know if anyone is interested. We were thinking Galena, but open to suggestions.

We were planning a day trip. We would be leaving the Aurora/Naperville/Oswego area probably around 8:00am and planning on getting back after dinner. We are shooting for the 31st or the 1st...

 

We are going on the 1st now... We are not sure if we are headed all the way to Galena since a couple riders can only come out for a couple hours, but we are for sure going to be riding.

 

The season is coming quick and I'm always looking to ride, mainly on Sundays...

Anyone planning any day tours?

Motorcycle Sunday Aurora IL

I'll be there for sure... Last year they had about 300 bikes, they are planning 500 this year. It's mainly Harelys, but who cares.

I'm sure I'll be making my usual day trips once the weather improves a bit. I will also be doing a trip around Lake Michigan this year for sure. If anyone wants to plan anything, send me a PM.
