Lets not scoff at Vic 20's. Plugged into 440 they are dynamite. My backup is a Cray. I also have 700 motorcycles, and am into long walks on the beach.

I have my work laptop which is a Dell D630. Not a bad laptop but would like a new one with a solid state drive.

At home I have a Core 2 Dell with 2 GB of RAM. I also have a Dell server that has 8 GB of RAM and four SCSI hard drives configured in a RAID 5 format. I use this server to run Virtual Server. So far it is working pretty well.

    House of Mac's here too!

Black Core2 MacBook, Mac Mini in the living room slaved to a 52" Sony with about 2tb of media storage. My alarm clock is my Pismo PowerBook. The kitchen computer is a 15" iMac G4. Housemate has two 17" MBP's (one of them unibody).

Getting ready to sell the Mini to get a new one for the new video card. My Macbook is about to get semi-retired and replaced with a 15" MBP unibody.

I work on PC's all day long, so the Mac keeps me same. Trips out customers when I open up XP in a window when and if I absolutely half to.

I hear ya! I used to run windoze 98 and 2000 on my 15" Powerbook G4 and people would ask me what hack i was using. I used to run windoze faster on my Mac than the native PS did at my job!

My next purchase is an Apple TV so i can dump Netflix and watch movies directly on my HD TV. I was previewing the video from SLO II (Reggie's Roundhouse Round-Up 2008) directly from my iMac to my HD set; it looked amazing!

What distribution? More likely than not there's a precompiled 64bit version, which will make full use of all your memory, in addition to a few other benefits. However, you can run into issues with drivers; depending on availability.

No, I sold the Radian the same day I got my FZ1. To be honest, I can't say I miss it all that much, haha.
