This video CLEARLY shows that a SKILLED rider on a VFR can EASILY outmatch someone on one of them 'Busas'...

I just wish I could handle the throttle like the VFR rider does. Does the 'blipping the throttle' help with upshifts?

It is all technique. Too much action on the wrists equals wind resistance.

And yet, another example of Busa's clearly not being the dominate speed kings that we thought they were. Here is a CHP-like BMW R1100S chasing down a Busa...

Looks like the same VFR pilot too...

Busa's got nothing on this Beemer... LINK

I see ---- a carry over from VFRD. Yeah strait line - so what? All I know is that last time a busa chased me going west on Ohio 78 -- he wiped out and I kept burning twists.

kinda hard to pass up a 25th anniversary with 516 miles on it for $5000. I posted the videos as a comic relief attempt. Obviously it's too childish or immature for some. Ok. And seeing as how you've been on here for about... one month... you are obviously better apt at judging a quality thread than I am. I guess it's best to just not post your dislike on the topic and leave it for others that might actually find it funny...

I think he's making a satire of the fact that the YouTubers that made that video based straight line performance as all a bike's worth, without considering touring, corning, two up, etc. The Hayabusa is fast as hell, though it corners like a whale on a trike. It's a heavy bike with minimal clearance on the pegs. makes for a good drag bike though.

I don't know, kinda looks directed at someone...

maybe he's just pissed because his ZX10 buddy can't pull a wheelie.

They weren't racing a yellow 5th gen. It would have ended differently.

Have been on past rides where a very good 'Busa rider is just as fast through tight twisties as a decent VFR rider but he did have to climb all over and hang off it like a demented monkey to do it. While a very entertaining rider to follow with titainium knee sliders sparking rooster tails he was also working much harder to maintain the same pase with the VFR riders ahead or behind through the same sections of twisties.

as the owner of both a vfr and a 2000 busa...i can tell you that the vfr is the better handling of the two..and far more comfortable on long rides...the busa does not handle like a whale...its really quite good for a bike of its size....and eveyone should get a ride on one ...and the sensation of winding a busa out is mind blowing...beautiful motor

They're comparing apples and oranges though, Both great bikes but for different purposes. Quite frankly the busa I rode scared the sh+t outta me, too much zoom azom for this old bastage. Part of my problem being that no matter how much power I have I wanna use it, less power= longer lifespan for Marko.
