The question shouldn't be "Why should I get a VFR?", it should be "Why would I consider any other bike than a VFR?" But that's just me.
I know that I want one because it is the most comfortable bike I've sat on/ test ridden. It is sporty enough to look like a bullet bike, but without the high insurance of a bullet bike. It has a little more of an upright riding position so you can ride all day without your back hurting, unlike a bullet bike. I know people that track their VFR's and LOVE them, and they can keep up with some of the liter bikes out there in the twisties. For me, the looks are different enough from a typical bullet bike, and it is comfortable enough for me to do my 45 mile 1 way commute on a daily basis, so that's why I'm going to be buying my VFR.
Obviously You are here on this forum............. Why ask.......You already anser yourself.:biggrin:
Your question is like asking... Why should I eat, breath, and sleep? Anybody whose anybody has a VFR, that's why!
When I shopped for mine, I wanted a motorcycle. A machine to ride. I purchased an instument to live on instead. Check the differences in the definitions of Machine vs instrument and you will understand.
