    Mirrors for 5th Generations

Although 98-01's were 5th Generations, only the 98 and 99's had the rubber condoms on the mirror stalks. I have a 91 and 01 so I am not sure if the 00-01 are a direct replacement since I have not actually seen the 98-99 models and their bolt pattern.

I have a '98 and the Y2K mirrors (2000, 2001 model mirrors) fit perfectly and look very nice. Here's a picture...note I also have added 1" mirror extenders.

Here is the part#'s for replacement mirrors without the rubber sleeves! I picked them up brand new just this past fall!

    88120-MBG-D01 Left Side

    88110-MBG-D01 Right Side

These are the right numbers don't let your local Honda dealer tell you different! For all those guys here in Canada those numbers there American I got a better deal from a American Honda dealer, just across the border in northern New York State! There 2000-2001 mirrors but they will fit trust me and they improve your bike tremendously!

    Cheers, CdnVffer

    Extenders

How do you like the extenders how much more range do they give you? to ask how much movement do yu have to make with your head while riding? I've been thinking of getting some but just want some input!

    Cheers...

    Mirror extenders

The mirror extenders are approx 1 inch thick so that would make another 2 inches between the pair. They are the difference between seeing your shoulders or the cars behind you. I had some made and they are listed in the VFR classifieds with the pictures of them on my 2001. They are 35.00 shipped to the U.S. and the longer bolts are included. Thanks

I really love them. Like the previous post said, all I could see were my shoulders/elbows. The help tremendously and I think they look just fine. My friend said he wouldn't have even noticed them if I hadn't pointed them out.

Buy them from ServiceHonda, you will get a better price than your local dealer.
