Anyone divorced lately

Agreed, but when? They were on a bike out for a ride, it went from a ride to a drunken night that ended in marriage, wow, guess she was talented at the reach-around....or something. Although he obviously did his friend a "favor" by taking her off his hands, but friends don't ride other friends women.

 

BTW, are you and the guy still "friends"?

Wow! This divorce thing really, really sucks, huh! I've been married once, for 42 years now, to my High School sweetie who I met when we were barely 17. The only reason we are still together, other than because we love each other, is that she's a saint (but a real devil where it counts). Great partner, great mom, great lover, great person. I really hit the wife lottery! So it's been 42 years of married bliss for me, but not nearly so many for her I'm sure (heeheehee).

 

Been married for 30 years now. Just not to the same woman. Kicked the first B%&ch out after 5. I was hard nosed with that process and make absolutely no appologies for that. Been married to this jewel for 23 now and have never looked back. We have produced two of the most wonderful kids one could expect. One quiet and mild like her dad, puke and the other takes ofter his mom. In reality my daughter is very much like myself....stubborn as all get out, while my son is quite passive like his mom A good mix. Except from time to time the battle of wits between my daughter and I can carry on a bit. (I always win cause I have had a lot more experience at manipulating people. She has yet to figure that one out.)

Seriously???? Your friends girl???? I hope she took you for everything you own........I think you deserve it.

 

Not to defend his actions, but if she was somebody's girl she couldn't have been taken and if she was that easy to take he actually did his buddy a favor, because somebody else would have done it sooner or later.

 

I'll bet that a good many of you who've suddenly found yourselves imprisoned within a bad marriage or other long-term relationship may have failed to recognize certain early cues, clues, and red flags.

At any rate, first accept the fact that YOU made what turned out to be a bad decision, and also accept responsibility for where you colluded, and so forth. Take an honest look at your own shit/baggage before you project and externalize blame, as though you are a hapless victim. There are usually two sides to every story.

 

You are right. Hers was no different than mine. We both agreed she had a hard time keeping other men's peckers in their pants.

Well I am not married and have never married. My friends got married first and that is how I knew I did not want to be a prisoner and a sucker. There are some people who are happily married - some people want to be with someone when they get old (if they live that long). I believe a man should have a pair of GFs and a spare lady friend (can always have a lady friend with benefits). I also do not care if people think I am a womanizer or chauvanist - so what. So many ladies want to run stuff and they do not know what they are doing and most ladies do not pay attention to details like a majority of men do. Not bashing the ladies - love them and enjoy them but gotta keep them under control. Some ladies think women are smarter than men, but that does not mean every woman is that talented, so there are a lot of dumb broads out there - try not to pick them to be a wife. I try to stick with women who ride bikes, like bikes and will ride with me and also women who are only interested in discrete sexual relationships (lot of that here in NYC). Stay single, get booty, do what you want to do and be happy. I do not need a woman to take care of me or tell me what and when to do stuff.
