he it is my friends, what you see before you used to be a 2004 gsx-r 750 i got call from my friend asking to pick him up " bring the trailer" so being a good friend i did, when i came up on this poor motorcycle laying in the road i knew even though he had called me that he was dead! but this stupied idiot!! only owning this bike for three months, went out and wanted to pop some wheelies, im fine with that when you are a exprenced ride that knows what you are doing but, him on the other hand has never been on a bike and this dumbass went and bought a 750 sportbike, i could have beat that boys ass when i saw him!! how he walked away is, well freaken unbeileveble. so lets he some stories.

P.S oh he hit a tree, the tree won!!

Maybe it's not just the 1k's........

To quote Suzuki directly per the bulletin, " WHY IS SUZUKI CONDUCTING THIS RECALL?
Suzuki has received reports of cracking or breakage of the motorcycle frame in
extreme situations where unusually high stress is placed on the frame, such as collisions
    involving the front wheel/fork assembly.
Suzuki has also received reports of cracking or breakage of the frame behind and below
steering neck when the motorcycle is subjected to repeated hard landings from hazardous
maneuvers such as extreme or extended wheelies or other stunts. Suzuki believes
type of driving activity is reckless - and illegal when performed on a public roadway -
not condone it. If the frame becomes broken during this type of extreme use, a crash
    occur.
While ordinary operation of the motorcycle does not create a risk of cracking or breakage
the frame, Suzuki has decided voluntarily to conduct this Safety Recall to minimize
potential for frame cracking or breakage in the circumstances described above."

That sends a shiver down my spine looking at that frame. Convince him to get a VFR now.

NCBs note looked like he might have a bad frame(regardless of the circumstances of the break) he may have some compensation coming.

Well I bet that had to be just a little scary for a new rider (I know it would be for me).....maybe next time he'll show a little more respect for the bike he rides and his skill level. That really would have sucked to lose a friend so needlessly, I'm glad to hear he was okay.

I think you're going to have to have him take a shot of slick 50, 4 times a day, or untill I.Q. reaches minimum ride requirements.

    Glad he's OK!!
