    OK, here's the deal. I was trying to organize a Big Bear ride on Sunday 3/8 with Shaynej. However, with all the rain and snow and debris on the mountain roads up there, he mentioned that we should put it off for a month or so! Well, I NEED TO RIDE! So, anyone in the area with some ideas??Sunday 3/8 is really the only time I can do something for a while so I don't want to waste it. Let me know what you guys think. :ear:

    We actually have some snow as well, but it should be gone in a week or two of warmer weather. I will be down for another SD ride.....I know the roads like a hooker knows how to :ncb:

    nice to hear from you again. let us know when is a good time to ride there- it's reassuring to know that you're very familiar with the twisties there. if chuck takes care of the meat, i'll throw in beer and chips!:thumbsup:

    Oh I will take care of the meat! But what makes you think you can handle my meat?? My meat is alot for some to handle!! HA HA :laugh: Where we meetin' up and at what time?? Same as last time (The one I had to work through and couldn't make it)??

    Same location would be cool. Park N Ride on 15/76. Maybe a later time though...like 9:30-10:00 or so, since it has been chilly as of late.

    I have an idea, how about you guys plan a ride and say when and where. Im the dork though for starting this thread called "Ride on SUNDAY 3/8" right Long?? :crazy::loco: There's this new thing they are teaching in schools now it's called "reading comprehension" :boink::chairshot:

    Yeah Mr Nardy, I was talking about the 3/8 date for the ride....however, the doc (and maybe Fizz) were talking about a ride on this Saturday. I did want to make a certain loop which involved Idylwild, but that might not be an option as the roads are probably pretty snowy/wet/full of dirt from the storms. I was probably just gonna take them on a south san diego county ride.

    keep me in the loop...i want to ride this weekend to break in my new tires. by the way, it did greatly improve the steering. i didn't mention to you that when you test rode my bike, tire press was 20 for the front and 22 for the rears. never checked pressure since i bought it in feb 08.:smile:

    Mr Nards.....like I said earlier...since the roads around Idylwild is kinda still sketchy with the snow/ice/debris, I was thinking about taking the boys on a south San Diego county run. It might be a bit of a hike for you to meet up with us, but you are more the welcome. I was thinking of ending it up more north than we started.

    Here is the meetup point.....this is not for chuck's ride....this is for tomorrow, Saturday, at 9:30am. Sorry for whoring up your thread Chuck! I will post this up on the SCAR group link.
