You've got lots of company amongst VFR owners. I dropped mine on her right side after less than 66kms from picking her up from the dealer and had the same damages. I decided to live with the damage until she and I got more familiar with each other. A little wax and unless you're within inches of that side you can't see the damage. I have a little over 17,000 klicks after the first year and fortunately no further damage. Good luck coming clean with your dad. I'm sure he'll forgive you. You sound like a good kid.

 

Why don't you just come clean and admit that you were riding it? That VTEC is a bitch isn't it??? :biggrin:
