First time posting to your site. Whoo, busy site.

I've started mods on my 06 Black VFR with pazzo shorties & carbon fiber Devil exhaust. Man does it sound sweet. Actually, my decision to go with Devil was because of posts on this site with sound clips of various pipe; - the Devil sounded the best to me. The new pipes sound as good as I expected.

Question: I've heard that tweeking can be done, by changing the air filter & possibly re-mapping. Devil says no re-mapping is required, as they have designed their pipes to specifics of the VFR.
    Any thoughts?

    Hi CuttingEdge
Unfortunately, I do not have a sound clip of my bike with the Devils on, however there are a number of clips on YouTube. In my research I lined up the major exhaust pipes on VFRs, and the Devils sounded the best to me.

They are frigg'n fantastic. I've had a lot of compliments on my bike since installing them. I think you have a U.S. distributor for those pipes. I had to deal with the French parent company. A slight problem with getting all the parts (a couple of extra shipments at no cost to me). The company was great to deal with.

Absolutely best purchase I made for my bike. No regretting the cost. The bonus is it adds approx. 10 to 15 hp. (with the baffles out) You can definitely feel the difference.

    Good Luck

I don't have photos of my bike with the Devils on (yet). It's in storage for the winter at the moment. Black VFR w/ black carbon Devils, S-W-E-E-T!

The company website is www devil.fr

I am about ready to order my pipes but am unsure of which set to buy. Do you have the Magnum Series or the Racer Series?

I have the magnums, with the baffles out. I believe the racer series are quite a bit louder & built for the track. I find my pipes give just the right amount of growl, especially as the 4 valves kick in, so I'm not concerned about cops hassling me about noise.
