We ride through Beamsville all the time.

I am with Rider Plus now. Full cover around $730 or $750 (don't remember the exact amount).

I'm with rider's choice too, best price I could find, $776 with collision, with $1000 deductible, but I live in Windsor.

From my experience, if your under the age 30, State Farm is the way to go usually (in Ontario anyways). I pay $1400 full coverage (1 accident, 3 speeding tickets) on my driving record. I wasn't required to sign anything else over but they had great rates for my vehicles. Only down side, they don't consider a Motorcycle as part of they "10%" discount for every vehicle added to the policy nor do they allow you to insure during riding season only.

Well the 6th gen VFR is the only sport bike jevco insures.
It is classed as touring, so they don't insure gsxr's or cbr's.
as mention full collision $423, even covers theft.

I am in Petawawa Ontario. I was insured with mantha insurance (Jevco) last year at $1958. Just switched to state farm and now pay $1400 for basic PLPD. Not too bad though being im 21 with m2.

Cool, but I know the owner. He works at CRL and lives around the corner from me. I don't think he rode it last year, but I wonder if he sold it to you. Where did you buy it?

$560 for 6 months basic to get the bike on the road ,then fire theft & gear coverage thru ride smart. I have had bad dealings with icbc, although it sounds worse elsewhere.

$1350 for the year on an 08 with full coverage. Not 30 yet, so that's probably why it is so high, and the fact that I live downtown Toronto.

Yep I agree were getting boned. I checked into why last year and the reason was because ICBC wants nothing to do with insuring bikes but their mandated by law being the designated insurance corp to insure everything for everyone. If it was up to them the wouldn't insure bikes period. Not fair but that's their reasoning.

I got my private theft, fire, collision etc down to $325 for the year and ICBC third party for the year came in at a whopping $930 !! for a grand total of $1255.

I don't like ICBC for many many reasons but that's a whole nother thread.

have to agree that MPIC is the WORST insurance anywhere!
loved teh price of insurance in alberta...for a full year on an R6 the premium was 600 bucks through ING.
here in BC...ICBC dinged me 1200 for 6 months last year. this year i qualify for megson/fitzpatrick for the non-mandatory items. so for those items for the full year its $500, then plus the cost of the mandatory ICBC insurance.
I actually like ICBC, but the price is just a bit higher than Id like. The service you get from them is awesome. Even though ins is cheap in Alberta, the whole ins/reg system is a real pain in the a$$, and then heaven forbid you make a claim.
Ins in MB is cheap for cars but even more of a pain in the a$$ than Ab.

VFR $695/year through Riders Plus (Echelon) - 1 million PL, $1000 deductible all perils
Wife's Ninja 250 (under my name) $430/year Riders Plus with similar coverage
I think it's a 10% discount based on multiple vehicles...
