Upper torso armor

Anyone have experience with the Icon Field armor vest or the Joe Rocket Speedmaster back protector?

I want to be able to wear something like this under my Olympia textile riding jacket.

The best available is the Bohn Armor system. As with anything worth buying, you are going to pay for the priviledge.

I would say the second best option would be the Alpinestars Bionic jacket. Ironically enough, the AStars is more expensive.

I have the Icon vest and really like it for the price. It fits under my jacket well, has plenty of adjustability, and the armor seems to be of good quality. Hopefully I won't have to put it to the test.

 

Same here, it's really comfortable and versatile, I use it on my 4 wheeler as well, seen too many back injuries and chest injuries on them.

 

Costs a lot? I think of it this way... good equipment costs a whole lot less than hospital bills!
