I am jonesing jonesing jonesing. We have about two feet of snow on the ground here in northern MI. It's been like this for months and it will be like this for months. So I'm venting; so sue me. Been reading my service manual and daydreaming about the glorious roads around my house. Jonesing.

I feel your pain. I'm south of Lansing and it's just as shitty down here as it is up north. Sunday it peaked at 40 with sun and the roads were mostly dry except for runoff and ofcourse I was in the cage all day running from Ann Arbor to Kalamazoo for the superbowl. And of course now it dumps on me again yesterday/today. I feel your pain, indeed.

How bad do you have the bug? Have you gone and sat on your bike and made riding noises yet? lol

The side streets are bad but the main drags a clear...found myself asking...."you think you could make through 3 blocks of reflective ice, so you can ride the gravel/salt covered roads" and considering such action seriously.

Not that i have a history of riding when i can see my reflection in the road......more than 2x a year....okay maybe i do.

I'm going to go sit on my bike now. BBL.. vroom vroom.

I'm about an hour east of Traverse City, in Bellaire, near beautiful Torch Lake. It was 15 degrees here this morning... 15 BELOW that is. :p
I just tell myself that it makes me appreciate the nice weather more. And I do get to ski. :)

That's funny, it's 78 degrees right now here in San Diego.

I'm parched, I think I'll go have me a lemonade.

Just close your eyes while you are on the toilet and imagine being on your Viffer. It is more realistic if you flush right as you reach VTEC range

I would normally be feeling the pain myself, But we in Denver have been blessed with a week in the high 50's to mid 60's so all in the world is rotating again, kind of!!

Perhaps this is where the global warming has decided to park itself for the next few days.

Hope you fellows get some soon!!

Shoot, you're a stone's throw away when I'm in Detroit. I might be able to hook you up with some cheap standby flights out of DTW on Continental(my brother flies for them) Would have to transfer in Houston since that's the closest hub to Cali...not sure about direct continental flights... I'd like to go but I don't think I'll be able to with classes...plus seeing everyone on their bikes would make me even more envious..

I've been known to drive down my snow packed street just to get to the main road.... lol

I know the area. My dad did some work up in Charlevoix for Consumer's Energy when they shut down the big rock plant and I went up with him a couple times. I also have a friend in Petoskey and the buddy doing the U.P. ride with me has family in Charlevoix and friends on Torch lake.

    assss hoooooooooooole. j/k

    LMAO.

I'm lucky I guess- we have had dry weather for several days, but it iss butt ass cold. My morning commute when it's 25deg or lower is a bit frosty, but it's worth it to ride home in the setting sun and mid 40's. Yesterday I got off work early and rode for 3 hours in the sun and 50deg weather and it was a little slice of heaven. Sorry for you guys that are locked up in the frozen tundra for several more months. If it makes you feel any better it's supposed to start pissing rain here in Oregon soon so I'll be much more miserable when I ride...

10 degrees is ok as long as it's sunny and there's no wind... where were you at? Indianhead? Blackjack? powederhorn? I've always wanted to try those places out...but it's a bit of a drive for me way down here so it's better to spend on trips out west I'd say. Have you been over to Mt. Bohemia up in Copper Harbor? That's a bit above my skill level lol.
