Thanks, man. It would be one thing if I could have slid the bike sideways on the Dragon or something and have WON those wounds, but instead it was a zero drop. Sad, sad.

Fortunately, the plastics are not cracked and I'm thinking that between Stosh's kindness, a new painted door for the hardbag (maybe with some 'glass work), and some paintwork that I will be back in business. It just sucks that she was so new when I hurt her. :(

Do you know of any good motorcycle paint/body shops in your area? If you are unable to find a good shop let me know and I can make a recommendation for you for one here in North Georgia. They do excellent work and have won many awards. When it comes to something like that I'd rather drive a couple hours to get the work done right rather than take it somewhere close that does shitty work. Now during the winter is the best time to get the repairs done since most shops start getting busy in the spring/summer.

    Regards,
    Rollin

No, I do not. This is the first time I have ever damaged a motorcycle that was worth worrying about. :frown: Can you go ahead and give me that recommendation? Thanks for your help!

    Bag help?

I decided to wreck my RWB back on Halloween but did not have the Hard Bags on when I did it. So I have two hard bags straight from honda and no bike to mount them too.

Not sure if you'd want them but I'd be willing to discuss it.

    Sorry about your drop

    Ben

Hey Casey, look at it this way, at least you got to ride your's before it went down. Check this out , I found my RWB near here and put down the $$$, told them when the snow is gone I'll be coming to get her. Snow f*&ks off, I call, sales guy says , uh, can you come in a couple weeks, we had a little "incident". Seems one of the other sales guys was in love with the bike and was sitting on it daydreaming and didn't put the sidestand all the way forward when he finally came in his shorts, walked away dizzy and hey, what was that crashing sound???? Yep, there was wonder woman, down for the count. End result :Lower left fairing scraped
    Upper headlight cowl scraped
    Mirror toast
    Windscreen scatched
    Peg feeler broke
Now after all the apologies and pleading for their lives they were decent about it, ordered all NEW parts from Honda etc. but man , what a way to start out! I saw the parts and really , they weren't at all bad, actually, new red decals are all they needed. He's selling the lot for around $400 canadian if anyone needs spares, I'd have snapped em up but I'm outta room, still got my 03 taking up space if anyone is interested.
