Hi to all fellow Viffer lovers. The handle all my mates give me is Fester, no hair and dead butt ugly. The ride is a 2005 blue VTEC which has just done 35,000km. We, Granny, the missus, live just 2 hours from the beautiful Gold Coast. We are in the hills so some good riding locations. I am local Branch President of the Ulysses Club, which is a social group of old farts on bikes. We have around 29,000 members here in Asutralia. Looking forward to sharing a biot about where we come from, what we do and generally having a good tim Regards Fester: cheersaf:
Welcome aboard Fester!! How about some pictures of your beautiful blue mistress? If you truly are as ugly as you say please do not include any pics with you in it....only the bike LOL !! Regards, Rollin
Well stop festering around now will ya mate? Time to arty2:! Lot of upside under folksies on here. Hello and welcome to the nuthouse! Please make sure that your seatbacks and tray-tables are in their upright and locked position. :vtr2:
At great insistence here we are, me and Granny plus the mistress and she who must be obeyed's beloved Shadow I must state this is a couple of years old, ignore the date, Kodak make %&#$ cameras. Photo was taken on 12/04/95, our 34th anniversary. I am a lot uglier now and have a lot less hair. Regards Fester
Welcome Fester Great to have a fellow Uyssian on the site.I have been a member of the Wellington Branch for 4 years we average 2 or 3 group rides per month. Currently riding a '99 VFR 800 and a '00 Firestorm. Bonza!!!!!!!!!!
Great looking bike Fester!!! I really came close to having mine custom painted all blue but decided to stick with the Anniversary Scheme. Your bike really looks sharp!! Regards, Rollin
Yo bro, How choice is that. Think I have hung out with too many Kiwis in a good bar. They are found near and wide. I agree, also good to see another Ulyssian on site. Granny and I joined around 6 years ago, started a new branch at Warwick just 14 months ago and now have around 80 members locally for a small town of just 13,000 people. We do an organised ride once a month, with impromptu rides every other Sunday for those who want to turn up and organise their own thing. Always do the organisation over a GOOD cup of coffee, something we must teach the good old USA about. We are off to Penrith in March for the AGM then next year in March we are off to Albany for the AGM in Western Australia, a 10,000km ride. Albany was where the ANZAC's last saw home soil before sailing for Gallipolli at the start of WW1. Cheers Fester :cheersaf:
