Thats why I like it, the Honda engine. Reminds me of old school Honda 750 choppers.

Its interesting in a bad attitude way. I think it would be nice for a 4th or 5th bike in the garage. My roots are too practical though, already got a Valkyrie, so not a chance it would happen.

It kinda pisses me off though that Honda spent their R&D money on the Fury and the
DN1, instead of models I would really considering buying.

Denny Burg (name might not be right) of Cobra Custom, a few years back, did an updated 750 chopper using a later 750 night hawk as a baseline. They called it the Copper chopper. It looked super clean --I wanted it.

I looked at this at the NYC bike show yesterday. OK, I guess, but I'm not sure why Honda went this route. There are a gadzillion chopper and cruiser builders out there. Doesn't seem like there would be much room for yet one more. Seems like Honda is losing their way; they're just not the same company they once were. I've been looking elsewhere for a companion to my VFR (V-Strom 1100, R1200GS, F800GS, and a few others, but nothing Honda has to offer).

    It sucks!

But the sad things is it sucks, but will actually sell because our beloved hobby/sport/ earthly passion has been overun with people who have more money than brains and are concerned with image, not riding.

Want to know why we don't have a new VFR? That's the answer.

some people only remember the comfort of their banana seat - ape hanger barred Schwinn's and the pain of their first ten speed. These are the same folks who flipped the drop-handle bars around so they could sit up right.

My buddy, who's never even sat on my VFR for longer than five seconds, swears it is uncomfortable. He'd love this bike.

I'd ride it, and don't mind the look. It has two wheels, a motor, and gears I get to shift. Brakes are optional as long as I can down shift ;-)

Man I've seen that bike up close and liked it, but that is a horrible pic of it....

As for the Fury I to wish they would of spent the money elsewhere also, but it is a nice bike.

I would so much prefer that Honda would spend their R&D funds on a diet for vfr's or maybe bring the liter viffer into reality...just sayin'

In some other time on some other planet in some parallel reality, I might consider a chonda. Whew that gives me cold chills to even think about. Kinda like waking up from a nightmare. For the record "it sucks" imho

I heard about it at the local dealership. They will not order any, nor will they order another 6th Gen VFR. Honda has a problem.

The thing that really drives me mad is what honda continues to produce for europe. And they sust stiff us. Powerfull & practical bikes that i would just love. We get only extreams of the spectrum with the Fury on one end and the CBR/RR's on the other. Neither great dailly riders.
