I just installed my new Leo Vince exhaust and it is F'ing Sick. The sound is awsome...well worth the money. I just took it for a ride in 25 degree weather just to hear it scream. :cheersaf:
The problem I ran into is I have a competition werks fender eliminator kit and now my license plate no longer fits between the cans. I just might cut off 1/4 inch of my license plate to make it fit.
My question to every 6th gen owners with Leo Vince cans did you run into this problem and if so how did you solve it. :cheersaf::cheersaf:

I have LV Carbon fibers and i don't remember having that problem. But I think there was a spacer that went in between the bolt and the mount which moved the exhaust slightly more to the outside and it was not an issue with my competitionWerks fender eliminator. I do remember thinking that they should have supplied a bolt that was about a quarter of an inch longer. i would have to take a lokk at my bike to give you a definitive answer and I can't because I am out of the country until Feb 4 th

Yeah I used one spacer on each side anymore than that and the bolt wouldn't thread all the way through. But I have some tin snippers I think I'm just going trim about 1/4 inch off my license plate and everything will fit just fine.

sounds good but something to ponder.
That license plate isn't yours it belongs to the state of Tennesee. It is a license to put a vehicle on public roads. altering it may be a violation of state law. no need to give the man a reason to hassle you. Hell in Louisiana just putting the LV's on is illegal. LOL

No problem installing the plate if you use the spacers on the pipes. Here's my write up for my 6th Gen.

It is just my opinion that the cans look more streamlined when they taper in at the ends a bit. Take a hand break and just fold the sides over a little bit and press them together. It looks cleaner than snipping the plate, as the edge is rolled.....as for altering the plate a little, it's not like you're removing a mattress tag. Of course, here come ten war stories about how a cop has measured my plate and wrote me ticket and impounded my bike.....

My plate sits below the pipes.
I removed the fender and reused the plate mount attached to the bracket for the hard bags.

If a cop (nick named "eagle eyes") can spot a 1/4 alteration to my license plate while I'm out riding...well I guess we'll just see if he can catch me.

    Thanks for the suggestions guys:cheersaf:

I am thinking of getting the LV exhaust but just wonder if anyone has a picture of the tail section of your bike with no exhaust? I want to see what it looks like. If you do please post it.
